Partially completed reduction woodcut by Ken Januski

I’m moving along more speedily than normal on this one, spending less time in endless deliberation about what to do next. Above is the newest effort, I think 11×17 or something like that. Gladys:
I'm kind of worried that I'll talk her and she ends up having a boyfriend.

The closest I've gotten was just smiling at her.

She kind of moved to some other girls that were in front of me, as she was talking to them, I saw them turn around that smile at me.

Just today, everyone was waiting by the door in the gym to leave and I purposely stood by her but didn't really make any contact.

Well when I came by she made a few glances.

After that happened she was watching me.

I don't know why I did it but as I was walking past her, I smiled at her and she noticed.

A week later, I was running the track again and she was just standing there.
